A limited edition makeup collection from Aveda aims to deliver “a palette of magnetic and contradictory beauty”.
The spring/summer 2015 collection, ‘Rare Bloom’, features copper and ivory shades, as well as classical shades of indigo sky, blooming pinks, and deep plums.
“This collection helps guests to create a natural look and pair it with a focus on the eyes or lips, using contradictory colours for a truly unique and customised look,” said Janell Geason, Aveda global artistic director, makeup.
“Shapes are delicate, like a petal or a butterfly wing, and shades are well-diffused. Nothing is overdone.”
Aveda makeup combines plant-derived ingredients and is formulated without parabens, talc, or mineral oil.
The collection is available nationwide in the UK from March 2015.
